Shirley and Banister are absolutely top notch. They are hard working, consummate professionals who get the job done. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
Ann Coulter, Best Selling Author, Syndicated Columnist, Constitutional Attorney
In 2001, conservative author Ann Coulter and Crown Publishing turned to Shirley & Banister Public Affairs to promote Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right. SBPA maximized speculation with a pre-launch strategy that included The Drudge Report announcing the launch of the first interview to be with NBC’s Katie Couric, and discussion about the interview on the Rush Limbaugh Show and the Internet. Slander debuted at number one on The New York Timesbestsellers list, a spot it held for eight weeks.
After the success of Slander, SBPA also promoted her next two bestsellers, Treason: Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism and How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must). Treason held a top ten position for eight weeks and How To Talk To A Liberal debuted at number two and remained on the list for sixteen weeks.
SBPA laid out a massive media tour for each book with numerous television programs from FOX’s Hannity & Colmes to CNN’s Larry King Live to NBC’s Tonight Show and Today Show to ABC’s Good Morning America and a co-host opportunity on ABC’s The View. She appeared on Rush Limbaugh and hundreds of other radio shows and was featured in a number of magazines and newspapers including TIME, ELLE, People Magazine, The New York Times and The London Daily Mail.
